SYG CHORAL PRESENTATION
Had fun at the concert yesterday, had a lot of fun in fact. The performance put up by the various choirs were excellent. Excellent display of techniques and quality voices. All of the really do deserve the Gold with Honours they were awarded for in this year's SYF Central Judging 2009.

Going further back in time, I met up with Roy and Jing Wen at the platform of Bukit Batok MRT Station. It had been totally unexpected as I didn't know Roy would reach so fast. Then when the MRT was about to stop and reach the stop, I saw Roy walking in the parallel direction to the train. I was staring at him hoping that my stares would actually catch his attention some how. Luckily the train stopped in time and I managed to caught up with Roy, running out of the doors of the train immediately after it stopped. I also happened to caught sight of Jing Wen who was waiting for me as we had arranged too.

So the three of us took the next train down to Jurong East. We had planned to meet up with the other Sec2 girls but they turn out to have reached Raffles Place Station already. Sort of had went off to Raffles Place without notifying us. Then while JingWen talked to Marvina on the phone as she explained of the news, I called up Yu Sheng who was still at home. We were pretty pissed coz we had planned to meet up together to go down to Raffles Place for lunch, in the end he came so late.

We decided to meet him at Raffles Place instead, and so we took the train down to Raffles Place. Did some magic routine warm up/practice on the train with Jing Wen and Roy. Had just 'break' my Viper deck so I was playing with it as much as I like.

Then when we reached there and thought we were early, we planned to go out of the station to look for some where to eat. Just when we were approaching the escalator, the girls came down. We were totally caught by surprise. Then after which we practically walked the whole of Raffles Xchange in our attempt to find some where to settle dinner.

Just when every thing seem to be bleak and futile, the girls decided that we should split up for lunch and to find our own lunch and call them when we are done. They can't leave us to far since they didn't know how to get to VCH from here.

So JingWen, Roy and I managed to find our way after a lot more rounds of searching and finally ended up at a mosquito/flies breeding area of Subway restaurant. It took us quite awhile, turning and going up and down the UOB tower here and there to find it. By then it was already 1830 hours and Yu Sheng has yet to reach. Then all of the sudden when we were queuing up to make purchase of our food, Yu Sheng msg-ed me to say he has reach. Like FINALLY! So after I've paid and ran all the way back to the station, which wasn't very far and brought him back to the guys having no difficulty to recognise the way back. I was thinking, like how am I going to return now. Everywhere looks practically the same!

So it turns out Yu Sheng has had dinner so he sat with us and watched us eat. Soon we found our way back to the girls. They had initially said they weren't eating, but I'm thinking it is just Marvina and Adalia since when I called Yu Xin, she said she was eating with the rest at some Japanese restaurant.

Turn one big round the Xchange as Roy led us to the wrong exit. Luckily the girls weren't all grouchy and all, we were spared from insults and punches. Phew! So we got our way to VCH with ease once we found the right exit and on our way we met up with Ms Seah who asked me about how the Oral earlier on was. We joked a bit too, as Roy and I walked by her two sides to the VCH acting like bodyguards. Then we joked about her height difference with us too.

The guys stayed outside the concert hall for awhile as we waited for everyone who is supposed to come to arrive in time. Jermyn gave me quite a shock as he looked darn different from how he usually looks like due to his attire. Kuan Yee was commenting that my attire was the most plain as I only wore a normal pair of jeans and a plain tee top. I replied by stating that the vest (according to Jing Wen) actually belongs to me and that I just didn't like to look too punk and all.

Soon everyone arrive, so did Ms Dianah, and we made our way into concert hall, prepared to be awed by the musicality of the prestige choirs that shall be performing.

During the concert, there was a moment where Mr Nelson Kwei came on stage and he held out his arms out wide as he recieved the applause. I totally lose control in the midst of the clapping and all and shouted rather loudly, saying that he was acting very arrogantly. Luckily, only those within 1metre radii me could hear me as the applause was really very great. I was darn embarrassed when Yu Xin and Marvina, who were sitting infront of me, turned and stared in disbelief for a moment.

CHINESE ORAL ...
had been rather horrendous since the conversation topic was totally random and had no relation to the passage that I had just read. I was all ready answer to a question on the disabled when I suddenly heard from the mouth of the examiner that she just asked some on schools opening their facilities to the public. I dropped my jaw wide open upon hearing the topic, and took a few seconds to clear what I had prepared in my mind and think of what could I say.

I practically just rant everything that I could think of at the moment. I stammered quite a few times as I was stumped by what words to use to express my views. I believe I had not use much interesting vocabulary in this section. I am glad that the passage was rather easy and that I should have done pretty well for it. Hopefully the conversation which should have been just as good as my passage according to previous records would not cause me my Distinction for Oral.


That would be pretty much the end of today's post as I do not see anything interesting on my mind to talk about now.
