without the tags running on too!!
Gosh, do i have to repeat myself. LOL!

but the tag still aint running at all.
please tag people.
i feel your presence, but i need more than that.

its tomorrow!
OBS is right there waiting for me.
k not, but for everyone who's going to be tortured.
well, i'm hope i'm in for it.
cause i feel like getting tortured. LOL
can't remember whats that term you call that.
one who's sick in the mind,
who like being tortured.
but i'm so not like that.

gonna go get the "Ah-qua" Shoes..
you know, those shoes that ah-qua 's wear??
nah, just kidding.
there are for me to wear. =X

hmm just added a new quote of Cleristo.
"To just by thy name, to just naught bias."

or maybe..
"Savour justice, as its much filling then bias."

or, or!
nvm, can't come up with any others.
think of any my lady and sire?
feel free to share on the tagboard.
or any other quotes of yours, not related to this.
like this quote i saw from derrick's pm.
"Fail to live and you have live to fail."
actually it was,
"Fail to live = live to fail."
just editted it abit.
or this,
"I'm sine squared theta, you're cosine squared theta, together we are one. (Sin²θ+Cos²θ=1)"
oh and i'm adding a new section to my post.
called....

"A Definition a Day of Cleristo Today."
Cleristo; noun, verb, adjective.
to say that a person is, kind, cheerful, forgetful, witty.
maybe that would be enough for today.
gotta go. ja-na~
"To just by thy name, to just naught bias."

Britain’s Got Talent choirboy Andrew Johnston has signed a £1 million deal with Simon Cowell’s record label.

The 13-year-old with the voice of an angel will release his first album later this year.

Andrew melted hearts when he sang Pie Jesu on the ITV talent show, reducing judge Amanda Holden to tears.

The council estate boy from Carlisle spoke movingly of being bullied at school for his singing.

currently Head Chorister at Carlisle Cathedral in Britain.

He came third in the Britain’s Got Talent final earlier this month, behind dance duo Signature and eventual winner George Sampson, and exited the stage in floods of tears.

But he is all smiles now after landing the deal with Cowell’s SyCo label, a subsidiary of music giant Sony BMG.

“I can’t believe it. I’m so excited. It’s a dream come true,” Andrew said.

A spokesperson for SyCo said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Andrew. He is incredibly talented and has huge potential.”

An insider said the multi-album deal is worth in the region of £1 million, although Andrew’s earning potential may be restricted by the fact that his voice will break in the next few years.

His first appearance on Britain’s Got Talent drew inevitable comparisons with Aled Jones.

He is the second runner-up to get a deal, after Cowell snapped up classical quartet Escala. The music mogul is also in negotiations with schoolgirl singer Faryl Smith.

Andrew’s performances on the show have been viewed over 15 million times on YouTube.

He is currently appearing on the nationwide Britain’s Got Talent tour and will begin work on his album as soon as it comes to an end.

argh,
i'm having too many videos on my blog
causing them to overload and unable to play well.
at least from my side..
maybe your com may see nothing's wrong.
or..
if you're already seeing that your com
is unable to load the present list of
videos on my blog.
your connection speed is bad.. hahas.
that's right, it sucks. -.-
anyway i've gotta take down some videos.
and if anyone's gonna try open the June posts
you'll most probably hang.
i mean your com would most probably hang.

yaya, anyway main post up.

the open house just now wasn't pretty much grand
nothing much special.
as in the events.
however...
the class rooms are cool.
they have the SmartBoard!
k, whats a SmartBoard!?
its like a white board.
doesn't convince you that's cool?
its a touch screen board!
yup, its connected to the computer.
its way darn cool, with lottsa other features.

way darn cool, that i had to try playing around with it.
until the darn auntie outside the class
came to kpkb.
say i make spoil all these..
omg plz, she doesn't even know how to use a computer
and she says that i made spoil of it.
darn professional is she.
she even got the teacher to come see
but of course my conscience is clear,
so i had nothing to fear.
even the teacher had nothing to say about
what i'm doing.
cause i didn't do anything wrong.

i made a wrong choice to eat in the canteen
it cost a bomb!
seriously, a small bowl of rice, curry fish, a drumstick.
how much would it cost you in school.
as in back in secondary school.
it cost you $2.80 back there!!
what the crap!!!
its like darn expensive,
that's a black shop man.
as in direct translated from Chinese.
English not sure. LOL.

anyway, i then spent on 3 bottles of drinks.
as i was out in the sun playing dunking at the school
basketball court
which is ridiculously short
compared to the norm courts
you see outside or in secondary schools.
everyone was having fun dunking.
walk around and see barely a few i know.
not many had that sense of longing or belonging
to the school, to want to go back school
to visit and take a look around the school
or to even visit the teachers that once taught us.
but it was cool, saw a few teachers.
still the same.

Mdm Ou's still just as pretty,
still looking rather young.
and i bet she's at least 40+.
no matter how one tries to hide her age
with her looks, its barely possible to hide
every trace of ageing in one.
just gotta rack your brains into it.
and you'd find it out.

the school choir wasn't bad at all.
and i never knew our school had a CO.
i guess its just newly formed.
cause i never remembered having such a CCA
in school before i left.
not even when my sister had left.
which means it had to end up around last year only.
but it was quite cool, their standards were not bad at all.

guess that's the good thing the Principal had
brought to the school with all the cool facilities.
just that it costs a bomb.
everything there costs a bomb.
the SmartBoard, it cost 2k each,
and there are over 60+ classrooms in the school.
wow. that old hag had definitely had the parents
in her palm's for her to be able to raise that amount of money.
its lucky that classrooms still do not have air-conditioners.
if its was to be build,
it would cost another bomb getting it
and maintaining them.

k shall end of here.
rather long post indeed.
ja-na..

countdown to OBS,
its barely 2 days ahead!!

All the way from America..
its DAVID COOK!

Dont Stop the Music - Lou Grant

one of my favourites last time.
but can't find the song on the net anywhere.
darn it..

here are the lyrics..

Lou Grant - Don't Stop The Music

Let's go to the rhythm
Let's go to the power
Keep on movin' - start the emotion
Jumping with emotion
Crazy locomotion
Move and dance and take my feeling

Jump and go
The power of the night
The music and the lights
With the best emotion!!
Lost in to your eyes
Without control, my love inside

Don't stop the music
The rhythm groove all right
Play the song don't be wrong
Make your feeling high - all the night
Don't stop the music tonight

Don't stop the music
To dance is like a fight
You can show your emotion
Your secret side - all the night
Don't stop the music tonight

Dancing with obsession
Show me your reaction
Let's go!! Grooving all the night
Move on crazy dancer
Music is the answer
All the night
You make me crazy

k blasting again..

bringing you.. Initial D Soundtracks!

Initial D Fourth Stage Song Collection

here comes 2 songs from the Music Making session
there would be 3 more nice once when they
send us the recordings at the studio.
some how i can't upload Kriss's up on Imeem.
nvm..
enjoy..

Music Making/Vocal Skills

, 10:44 pm

some how i do see rise of the web counter.
but however i see no tags.
which is rather ridiculous.

and frightening...

Fall For You has been pulled down to be ranked 2nd
on the charts this week.
this could only mean that some other song have had to
replaced him.
hears, "DUH!"
that's right, "DUH!"
the song that has took over the 2st position
is none other than Beat It by Fall Out Boy.

and i'm having some problems, i should say difficulty
trusting this particular person these days.
whether to trust him or not,
would require me to find out truth behind
the possible lies.

anyway, shall end off here.
blasting..

, 5:05 pm

OBS is only 2days away,
feeling excited already.

Dull

boring day it had been
dull and dull
it may be, it ain't plain
torturous dullness
surrounds in air,
breathing
taking in, deep
by the second.
just shalt prevail
nail down the culprits
for, the air dull
all so dull
boredom filling
my lungs.

AN UPDATE!

Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
Me: but of course.. LOL.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.
Me: that's Cleristo for you.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might meet that person.
Me: erm, slightly bit off my ideal mind set though.

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
Me: guess so? =X

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
Me: slacking though =X

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
Me: but of course. practical, goes well with Cleristo.

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.
Me: success is right ahead.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.
Me: I maybe headstrong but always looking for someone to fall back on. XB

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
Me: that's Cleristo for you too.

back to Main post.
the trip to the studio was great!
absolutely great!
the recording was not bad.
didn't really catch the whole recording.
but will get to hear it again when they have had it burnt right?
and the introduction of the Lion Studios was not bad,
John the owner of the studio was humorous.
i actually got to "tour" the studio twice
and stay in the studio for 2 sessions.
got to enjoy air-con and enjoy the time in the studio.

can't wait to get the singles soon.
gonna take the Physics ISPL test in advance tomorrow.
not sure about the rest.
but don't really feel like taking the rest tomorrow.
so might be the only one.
haven't revised. =X

playing the Richard Clayderman playlist from Imeem now.
enjoying the melodious music.
k, think i shall end of here.

here are some quick facts,

Wait For You - Elliott Yamin

seeing that my blog is losing the videos
since i have set 3 days of posts.
i've got to replenish with others!
enjoy, its Wait For You - Elliott Yamin

I never felt nothing in the world like this before
Now I'm missing you
And I'm wishing you would come back through my door
Oooooo
Why did you have to go? You could have let me know
So now I'm all alone,
Girl you could have stayed
But you wouldn't give me a chance
With you not around it's a little bit more than I can stand
Oooooo
And all my tears they keep running down my face
Why did you turn away?

[Bridge]

So why does your pride make you run and hide?
Are you that afraid of me?
But I know it's a lie what you keep inside
This is not how you wanted to be

[Chorus]

So baby I will wait for you
Cause I don't know what else I can do
Don't tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life

Baby I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just ain't true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, I'll wait for you

[Verse 2]

Been a long time since you called me
(How could you forget about me)
You gotta be feeling crazy (crazy)
Oooooo
How can you walk away,
Everything stays the same
I just can't do it baby
What will it take to make you come back
Girl I told you what it is and it just ain't like that
Oooooo
Why can't you look at me, you're still in love with me
Don't leave me crying.

[Bridge]

Baby why can't we just, just start over again
Get it back to the way it was
If you give me a chance I can love you right
But you're telling me it won't be enough

[Chorus]

So baby I will wait for you
Cause I don't know what else I can do
Don't tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life

Baby I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just ain't true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, I'll wait for you

[Bridge]

So why does your pride make you run & hide
Are you that afraid of me?
But I know it's a lie what you're keeping inside
That is not how you wanted to be

Baby I will wait for you
Oooooo
Baby I will wait for you
If it's the last thing I do

[Chorus]

Baby I will wait for you
Cause I don't know what else I can do
Don't tell me I ran out of time
If it takes the rest of my life

Baby I will wait for you
If you think I'm fine it just ain't true
I really need you in my life
No matter what I have to do, I'll wait for you

I'll Be Waiting.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 11:11 pm

took me very long to be able to find time to post today
given that everyday school ends at 5.30pm
by the time i reach home its 6.30pm
today is earlier, 6.00pm+
got a free ride home.

so then i shall proceed with my main post.
reached school to find jun jia had reached early
and together with jin shun were at the back of the canteen
acting emo.. LOLs.
cause that was not the usual table we seat.
lucky i saw jin shun, if not i myself wouldn't
have notice that.
then after that jordan came,
but did not see us at the back,
sat at the usual area.
walked up to call him.
HJ soon join us unexpectedly,
followed by William who had to be called by HJ to join us.
cause he couldn't see us.
darn funny.

Math lesson was great as usual even with the
teacher-student around.
not very heavy, but rather require alot of manipulation
of the formulas,
which tends to be rather cranky as it gets on your nerves.
it wasn't that bad in class, in the morning.
but just when i did the math homework.
i could barely get a clear mind to do it.
could be its night time, brain sleeping,
not the best time to do maths.

Mdm Chih was as funny as usual.
nothing much, but kinda getting boring.
can't wait for the groups to start presenting.
wondering if they had already forgotten about it.

Ms Kavitha face darn black today again.
lucky she sick, so still abit lenient.
Chem was fun as usual too.
with Mdm Yaw you can never get tired of chem lessons.
infact you want more.
sadly there ain't any tml.
but there's history!
meaning we get to have our first lesson with..
Mr Jason Hott.
LOLs. the widely popular guy in school.
not cause he's really hot.
but cause his a Caucasian.

the enrichment class today was kinda boring.
it totally made me realised that i should stick to being a physicist.
and not go jumping into being an artist man.
talking about how terrible the work is,
it makes one think twice and that's the end of it.

gonna sing "You Are Music In Me"
from High School Musical 2 for recording tomorrow.
and we got to hear the pieces we made on the first day,
which was presented to the whole class.
Hong Zhang's one was darn amazingly funny.
so was that Dylan from 3N2's.
with the vulgarity in it.
but it was actually nice.
smooth linked as Celine mentioned.
can't wait for the recording tomorrow indeed.
but would have to come back ourselves from the venue.
shouldn't be a problem i hope.
since i would have the other guys tagging along with me too.
but on the whole, the session just now was great.

Update on the issue i posted yesturday.
the conclusion that i consult from the seniors, namely shaun and melina,
was not to take any actions.
the answer was seems plain but it is filled with alot of supporting reasons
that melina have produced,
i was left with no choice but to give up my idea of getting back at her (the leader).

and if you (you-know-who-you-are)
is wondering where your tag has gone.
some how the blocking from people tagging
has failed me. don't try tagging anyway.
i have no interest in hearing you comments at all.
i told you before, i do not welcome you around here.
so to prevent any further dept of unhappiness,
please stay out of my tag board,
which is rather ironic cause it is rather deep already.
unless i can forget, i wont forgive.
don't bother saying you don't care about forgiveness.
cause neither do i bother if you care about anything what i said.

wasted around 130 words of my post
to include a ridiculous feedback.. wasted...

Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 7:44 pm

hmm it was an interesting day on the whole
with lottsa interesting events that went on
so much so that i gotta take some time
and post it orderly.
if not it may just seem weird jumping around
from scenes to scenes..

first thing in the morning as the bus
reaches the 2nd stop away from the stop i had board.
it came to my mind suddenly that i have forgotten to bring my
tie as today was tie day.
it has been long since the last tie day you see..
luckily i have buds who have extra ties..
like ALOI!
lols thanks to him i managed to avoid an unnecessary
detention on a day like today..

then after math and ss, we had chinese.
for the very first time, we actually get to enjoy chinese lesson soo much.
we never felt soo free in our lessons so far.
all thanks to lcl that we suffered thus far.
Mdm Chih was telling us her stories and introducing her
to ourself. and telling us how bad was LCL on the phone
talking to her.
man, she totally owns LCL..
those from 3e3 said the same thing too.

nothing interesting till assembly..
when the man from the bukit batok driving centre
came on stage to talk about road safety.
thought it would be boring,
but unfortunately, we happen to "witness"
an road accident.
he played this video of a very special road accident.
where a car actually beat the red light
and crash into another car directly
opposite of the direction,
as he was about to turn.
the car got knocked so badly,
and the crash was such a great impact that
the car actually flew right into a nearby passerby
crossing at the green light.
the impact of the car that was thrown in his track,
knocked him down badly
and was knocked some distances away from where
he was standing.
you should have seen the video, if you haven't.
it was darn shocking and unexpected.

onto my next activity after school.
Music Making/Vocal Trainning.
the vocal trainning was the sort of for Pop music.
and it turns out to be extremely fun.
much more then i thought it would be.
i even sang during the session, TWICE.
LOL!! i'm like so proud of myself that i have finally had the courage
to sing infront of the people.
Celine, the instructor actually commented that
my voice was the choral kinda voice
where i have the air i take in
held within my mouth,
with big air spaces in my mouth when i sing.
but she said it ain't a bad thing.
well i expected her to comment was it good or bad.
but apparently she didn't
but the responds from the crowd was quite good.

i was trembling badly after i had sing la..
darn scary experience.
but like what Celine said,
singers gotta be thick-skin...
hmm i did wonder if i should walk up to her or Clement
to volunteer myself.
just thinking la, just might do that after the whole activity.
thinking that it might not be bad being singing.
but i would have to be more courageous first though.
i'm still unsure how well i sing, but i truly can't wait for
the next session..especially the one on thursday.
where we get to go to a studio room.
i'd love to try singing in a studio room.

after that this perticular head of a perticular Uniform Group
was chatting with Yi Jun.
talking about the enrichment.
i overheard the conversation
as it was right behind my back, both figeratively and literally,
so she was saying, "...choir sucks..."
then i turned around and asked, "Why do you say so?"
she replied, "It just sucks."
I ask why again, and my answer was, "It sucks when you can't sing."
then i turn back to myself
as they continued their bold conversation.
i overheard that it might had to do with me.
but then again, i dun even know this head well.
and she ain't suppose to know me well enough to talk bad of me.
and it appears she hates choir badly.
Hearing that from a leader of a Uniform Group
is totally unacceptable. don't you agree?
imagine your cca being insulted like this.
yet, it appears that it never came into her mind.
this head i my eyes know, does not deserve to be in her current post.
as her attitude is not fit to lead a Uniform Group.
if everyone was to be as bold as her and make such unacceptable comments
on a CCA that they do not belong, what would the world become of?
i dare say that i have the guts to talk back at her.
but that would be a waste of time.
I'm gonna consult some people,
if there's a need to fight back against such comments.
for the pride of the choir,
we have to show people that we care about our CCA.
and that we are in Perfoming Groups
because we can carry ourselves as well as or even better
than they can, even without the use of physical punishment.
I have the thought of going straight
to the teacher-in-charge to report of such a bold statement,
that is barely tolerable.

however like i said, i believe i do have to consult some people
and maybe even the choir itself
on how should we deal with the situation.
it would be best to not involve Ms Seah or Ms Tang.
if it was to, i'm afraid i'm unable to predict the
possible circumstances.
even so, it would be best that Ms Seah and Ms Tang
see my point,
and agree that there is a need
for the choir to issue the warning
not to think little of the Choir,
as we are not. And that such intolerable comments
should be put to a stop.
so that everyone would not repeat,
and unsure that the Choir would be able to stand proud.

getting heavy on my eyes these days.
gotta run..

for his music and passion.

Classical

Bethoven!
a wonderful companion when you're doing your homework.
calms you done and makes you concentrate better.

just feel like listening to some classical music
to smooth myself from the tedious days that shall come.
and the days before.
*stares at the English summary assignment*
darn it, homework on the first day.
well can't say much but i shouldn't be talking about such stuffs
the fact that this is natural and rather nothing
compared to anything else thats gonna come
as the dates draws near.
to what? to the O's..
like what the Sec4's are current in for.
giving the final laps before the actual
play starts to roll,
as they walk over the red carpets
that have been laid for them by the many other seniors
who have made it through and the teachers.

that was random..

the enrichment that shall be going on
for the whole week started rather fine today.
the programs seems rather interesting and fun..
can't wait for friday,
where they are gonna bring us to the studio
to do some actual recording!!
WOHOO!!
damn song!!
they were asking for choir members earlier on.
but i chose to act dumb and deaf, along with roy and leo.
and we managed to get away with it,
even though some people or someone were/was pointing us..
that guy who sang 'Ai, Ai, Ai.."
looks like the same guy who came to choir as a Saint Gab Alumni
to check us out at during the SYF trainning period.
can still remember him.
but after much effort, he just ain't him..
LOLs..
but it was truly fun,
except that there were hiccups here and there,
it went smoothly on the whole.

k gotta get back to my english summary...
or the paper just might just bite me. LOL.
and gotta check out the D.Gray-Man manga release
and Bleach manga release too..

ja-na~

edit: a very old song i have heard of long long time ago..

Leavin' Jesse McCartney

Hey baby girl
I've been watching you all day
Man that thing you got behind you is amazing
You make me want to take you out and let it rain
I know you got a man but this is what you should say

Why don't you tell him that I'm leavin' never lookin back again
You found somebody who does it better than he can
No more making you cry
No more gray skies
Girl we flyin on a g-5, g-5
And I'm leavin' never lookin back again...
So call your shawty you tell him you found a new man
The one who's so so fly
The one to keep you high
Have you singing all night, like that

Now if I talk it girl, you know that I will walk it out
Man I'll put my money money where my mouth is
Cause you the baddest litte thing that I've ever seen
So ima ask you one time if you got a man

Why don't you tell him that I'm leavin' never lookin back again
You found somebody who does it better than he can
No more making you cry
No more gray skies
Girl we flyin on a g-5, g-5
And I'm leavin' never lookin back again...
So call your shawty you tell him you found a new man
The one who's so so fly
The one to keep you high
Have you singing all night, like that

Don't stress, don't stress, don't stress
Just tell him to the left left left
Don't stress, don't stress, don't stress
Cause we gone & we gone & we gone
No stress, no stress, no stress
Girl you deserve nothing but the best
No stress, no stress, no stress
Girl you need to tell him...

Why don't you tell him that I'm leavin' never lookin back again
You found somebody who does it better than he can
No more making you cry
No more gray skies
Girl we flyin on a g-5, g-5
And I'm leavin' never lookin back again...
So call your shawty you tell him you found a new man
The one who's so so fly
The one to keep you high
Have you singing all night, like that

my mother tells me, "Tell her cut shorter.."

my layer was gone... =.=
now it becomes slope..
argh and before i step out of the shop,

Cliff Han aka Father!!
=.= lame shit,
but the the picture on my card was
well taken! so it was a nice shot of me. =p

k back to the main thing.
have been going on about a discussion of the Meaning of Life
on a site name http://ipower.ning.com/
a good site indeed.
its like a forum
where they talk about alot of stuffs.

What is I Power?

Power is a lifestyle based on 3 principles:
  1. Being open-minded
  2. Active thinking
  3. Putting your vision into practice
I then found this link on the topic i mentioned earlier on.
http://ipower.ning.com/profiles/blog/show?id=2057690%3ABlogPost%3A103429
indeed its a very nice topic
and interesting one.
in just a few comments
i have came to discover alot more information on religion.
the belief of a God.
and learn of the Qur'an.

the Qur'an is actually the Islam version of the Bible.
is contains alot more feasible and clausible information
then the Bible. At least that's what i find.
It mentions Jesus Christ more than it mentions Muhammad.
It is said that the book is a the Word of God.
but the thing that greatly differs it from the Bible.
is that it has only one version.
which is makes it more reliable
then the Bible which is filled with Testimonials of Man.
Islam holds that the Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad by the angel Jibrīl (Gabriel) over a period of 23 years.

The aforementioned books are not explicitly included in the Qur’an, but are recognized therein. The Qur’an also refers[18] to many events from Jewish and Christian scriptures, some of which are retold in comparatively distinctive ways from the Bible and the Torah, while obliquely referring to other events described explicitly in those texts.

The Qur'an itself expresses that it is the book of guidance. Therefore it rarely offers detailed accounts of historical events; the text instead typically placing emphasis on the moral significance of an event rather than its narrative sequence. It does not describe natural facts in a scientific manner but teaches that natural and supernatural events are signs of God.

The Qur’an was written down by Muhammad's companions while he was alive, although the prime method of transmission was oral. It was compiled in the time of Abu Bakr, the first caliph, and was standardized in the time of Uthman, the third caliph. The Qur’an in its actual form is generally considered by academic scholars to record the words spoken by Muhammad because the search for variants in Western academia has not yielded any differences of great significance and that historically controversy over the content of the Qur’an has never become a main point. Therefore all Muslims, Sunni or Shia use the same Qur’an.

Taken from Wiki once again!

k so the whole deal is that i'm learning quite alot of things
from this person called Asheeq.
i might go into reading Qur'an
but its pretty heavy too..
it would take a toll of effort on me too.

shall be off.. reminded that i gotta do my ISPLs
and cut my hair tomorrow...

It [the Qur’an] is simply a reminder to all the worlds.
You will certainly know the truth of it after a while.
(Qur’an, 38:87-88)

, 4:46 pm

2nd post of the day,
i shall go onto Shenandoah.
the song that the Guys are singing.
its actually a country in the America.
Officially, Commonwealth of Virginia.

Shenandoah County is a county located in the U.S. state — officially, "Commonwealth" — of Virginia. It is part of the Shenandoah Valley region of the Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the population was 35,075. Its county seat is Woodstock.

however the song does not talk about the country
but as a folk song, it talks about the river within the country...

The Shenandoah River is a tributary of the Potomac River, approximately 150 mi (241 km) long, in the U.S. states of Virginia and West Virginia. The principal tributary of the Potomac, the river and its tributaries drain several lateral valleys in the Appalachians on the west side of the Blue Ridge Mountains, mostly in northwestern Virginia.

The Shenandoah is one of the rare North American rivers that flows to the north.

It is formed north of Front Royal at Riverton, Virginia, by the confluence of the South Fork (the longer branch) and the North Fork. It flows northeast across Warren and Clarke counties, then into West Virginia, crossing the extreme eastern tip of the state. It joins the Potomac from the south near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.

The Shenandoah valley is underlain by limestone. The fertile soil made it a favored place for early settlement and it continues to be a major agricultural area of Virginia and West Virginia. Some karst topography is evident and Luray Caverns in Luray, Virginia is a popular tourist attraction.

The Shenandoah River is mentioned in John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads," which associates the river with the state of West Virginia. In fact, both the Shenandoah and the also mentioned Blue Ridge Mountains are, with the exception of the tiny geological fingertip near Harper's Ferry, entirely within the state of Virginia.

History

The word Shenandoah was derived from a Native American expression for "Beautiful Daughter of the Stars." The Valley Pike (or Valley Turnpike) began as a migratory trail for tribes such as the Delaware and Catawba, who called it the Great Warriors Trail. Later colonists called it the Great Wagon Road, and it became the major thoroughfare for immigrants moving by wagons from Pennsylvania and northern Virginia into the backcountry of the South.

The road was refined and paved for motor vehicles. In the 20th century, the Valley Turnpike was a toll road. Then it was acquired by the Commonwealth of Virginia which incorporated it into the state highway system as U.S. Highway 11. For much of its length, the newer Interstate 81 parallels the old Valley Pike.

The Shenandoah Valley is a productive agricultural region. Despite the great promise of the rich farmland of the Valley, colonial settlement from the east was mostly barred by the barrier of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They had been crossed by Governor Alexander Spotswood's legendary Knights of the Golden Horseshoe Expedition at Swift Run Gap in 1716, but settlers did not follow.

Instead, the Valley was first settled by German and then by Scots-Irish immigrants from Pennsylvania in the 1730s. The former were known as "Shenandoah Deitsch." Both stocks came south into the Valley from the Potomac River. The Scots-Irish comprised the largest group of immigrants from the British Isles before the Revolutionary War, and most migrated into the backcountry of the South.[1] This was in contrast to the chiefly English immigrants who had settled the Virginia Tidewater and eastern Piedmont regions.

The Shenandoah Valley was known as the breadbasket of the Confederacy during the American Civil War. It was the site of battles between Union and Confederate forces.

In the late 20th century, the valley's vineyards began to reach maturity. They constituted the new industry of the Shenandoah Valley American Viticultural Area.

came 'cross this Pandora Box in the English ISPL Comprehension.
thus i went to research on it.
and here's what i got..

In Greek mythology, Pandora (from Greek: Πανδώρα, "giver of all, all-endowed"[1]) was the first woman. Each god helped create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mould her out of Earth (Γαîα -Gaia) as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire, and all the gods joined in offering this "beautiful evil" seductive gifts. Her other name, inscribed against her figure on a white-ground kylix in the British Museum (illustration, right), is Anesidora, "she who sends up gifts" [2] According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar (pithos) in modern accounts referred to as "Pandora's box", releasing all the evils of mankind— greed, vanity, slander, envy, pining— leaving only hope inside once she had closed it again.

The myth of Pandora is very old, appears in several distinct Greek versions, and has been interpreted in many ways. In all literary versions, however, the myth is a kind of theodicy, addressing the question of why there is evil in the world. In the seventh century BC Hesiod, both in his Theogony (briefly, without naming Pandora outright, line 570) and in Works and Days, gives the earliest literary version of the Pandora story.

The Pandora myth first appears in lines 560-612 of Hesiod's (ca. 8th-7th centuries BC) epic poem, the Theogony, without ever giving the woman a name. After humans have received the gift of fire from Prometheus, an angry Zeus decides to give men a punishing gift to compensate for the boon they had been given. He commands Hephaestus to mould from earth the first woman, a "beautiful evil" whose descendants would torment the race of men. After Hephaestus does so, Athena dressed her in a silvery gown, an embroidered veil, garlands and an ornate crown of gold. This woman goes unnamed in the Theogony, but is presumably Pandora, whose myth Hesiod revisited in Works and Days. When she first appears before gods and mortals, "wonder seized them" as they looked upon her. But she was "sheer guile, not to be withstood by men." Hesiod elaborates (590-93):

From her is the race of women and female kind:
of her is the deadly race and tribe of women who
live amongst mortal men to their great trouble,
no helpmeets in hateful poverty, but only in wealth.

Hesiod goes on to lament that men who try to avoid the evil of women by avoiding marriage will fare no better (604-7):

He reaches deadly old age without anyone to tend his years,
and though he at least has no lack of livelihood while he lives,
yet, when he is dead, his kinsfolk divide his possessions amongst them.

Hesiod concedes that occasionally a man finds a good wife, but still (609) "evil contends with good."

The more famous version of the Pandora myth comes from another of Hesiod's poems, the Works and Days. In this version of the myth (lines 60-105), Hesiod expands upon her origin, and moreover widens the scope of the misery she inflicts on mankind. As before, she is created by Hephaestus, but now more gods contribute to her completion (63-82): Athena taught her needlework and weaving (63-4); Aphrodite "shed grace upon her head and cruel longing and cares that weary the limbs" (65-6); Hermes gave her "a shameful mind and deceitful nature" (67-8); Hermes also gave her the power of speech, putting in her "lies and crafty words" (77-80) ; Athena then clothed her (72); next she, Persuasion and the Charites adorned her with necklaces and other finery (72-4); the Horae adorned her with a garland crown (75). Finally, Hermes gives this woman a name: Pandora -- "All-gifted" -- "because all the Olympians gave her a gift" (81).[3] In this retelling of her story, Pandora's deceitful feminine nature becomes the least of mankind's worries. For she brings with her a jar[4] containing[5] "burdensome toil and sickness that brings death to men" (91-2), diseases (102) and "a myriad other pains" (100). Prometheus had (fearing further reprisals) warned his brother Epimetheus not to accept any gifts from Zeus. But Epimetheus did not listen; he accepted Pandora, who promptly scattered the contents of her jar. As a result, Hesiod tells us, "the earth and sea are full of evils" (101). One item, however, did not escape the jar (96-9), hope:

Only Hope was left within her unbreakable house,
she remained under the lip of the jar, and did not
fly away. Before [she could], Pandora replaced the
lid of the jar. This was the will of aegis-bearing
Zeus the Cloudgatherer.

Hesiod closes with this moral (105): "Thus it is not possible to escape the mind of Zeus."

In a major departure from Hesiod, the 6th-century BC Greek elegiac poet Theognis of Megara tells us:

Hope is the only good god remaining among mankind;
the others have left and gone to Olympus.
Trust, a mighty god has gone, Restraint has gone from men,
and the Graces, my friend, have abandoned the earth.
Men’s judicial oaths are no longer to be trusted, nor does anyone
revere the immortal gods; the race of pious men has perished and
men no longer recognize the rules of conduct or acts of piety.

You, you got me
Thinking it'll be alright.
You, you told me,
"Come and take a look inside."
You believed me,
In every single lie.
But I, I failed you this time.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight,
Tonight.

I was waiting
For the day you'd come around.
I was chasing,
And nothing was all I found.
From the moment you came into my life,
You showed me what's right.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight.

I never felt like this before.
Just when I leave, I'm back for more.
Nothing else here seems to matter.
In these ever-changing days,
You're the one thing that remains.
I could stay like this forever.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight.
Tonight.
Tonight.
'Cause there's nothing that I wanna do,
But try to make it up to you.
And it feels like tonight.

i lost composure just now
and seriously feel such major headaches..
i seriously wonder if i really have split personalities
or is it just due to my extra forgetfulness.
i've lost my anger..
but seriously i was mad for that time.
it came to me only that would be right.
but then they (what i said) aren't totally making no sense.
its just in a much exaggerated version.
maybe i can write essays well after all.. =.=

its rather stupid thinking back.
its crazy when you're always smiling to get angry,
but when they tell you people who are always happy
have high frequencies of changing moods,
its true.
looking at the posts,
its just don't really look like me.
now i'm bound no where to fall onto...

but i'm serious about talking those remarks.
if there's any unhappiness,
bring it upfront stop being such a lowly peasant and hide your name
to whomever that was.

I (white) ain't gonna bother what the shit your gonna do
just get off my back and stop barking like some stray dogs.
i know there are plenty down the streets near the old school campus.
you can join then if you want to.
almost got chased by them once the last time i venture down that road.
but i can't promise I (black) would not get back at you again.
for your sticking rather much like a sore thumb now indeed.

ya, rather amusing..
and the thing about the split personalities.
it ain't totally untrue.
but rather much, unrealistic.
but well, can't make any better description.
reminds me of Allelujah and Hallelujah.
"he has another harsher, unstable, and outright sadistic alter ego"
wonder what would my alter ego be called...
lols.. argh feels much better being able to smile.

Dissociative Identity Disorder, as defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a condition in which a single person displays multiple distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment.[1] The diagnosis requires that at least two personalities routinely take control of the individual's behavior with an associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness; in addition, symptoms cannot be due to substance abuse or medical condition. Earlier versions of the DSM named the condition multiple personality disorder (MPD) and the term is still used by the ICD-10. There is controversy around the existence, possible causes, appearance across cultures, and epidemiology of the condition.

Signs and symptoms

Individuals with DID demonstrate a variety of symptoms with wide fluctuations across time; functioning can vary from severe impairment in daily functioning to normal or high abilities. Symptoms can include:

* multiple mannerisms, attitudes and beliefs that are dissimilar to each other
* headaches and other body pains
* distortion or loss of subjective time
* depersonalization
* amnesia
* depression

Patients may experience an extremely broad array of other symptoms that resemble epilepsy, schizophrenia, anxiety, Mood disorders, posttraumatic stress, personality, and eating disorders, with frequent misdiagnoses and ineffective treatment. Patients may experience auditory hallucinations of the various alters conversing, and may be misdiagnosed as psychotic as a result. Changes in identity, loss of memory, and awaking in unexplained locations and situations often leads to chaotic personal lives.

k gotta go..
father's been waiting..impatiently..can't blame him..

, 9:14 pm

an interesting video.
to keep this blog still truly alive.
its been getting on me and giving me the headaches..
i dun really care if it gives you the fun out of it.
cause i don't see anything funny.

for once you spout something human,
that i'm wasting soo much space of my blog
on your childishness.
i do agree, that i should get a life about it.
but not if you gonna bring around and brag about it.
and it would be too dull if don't add some dramatic effects in you see.
the other side of me would like to see everything like that happen to you.
get what i mean. oops, i'm afraid your not really into understand
simple language.

, 6:49 pm

i may be bad tempered
maybe even proud
but i ain't gonna take a shit for your nonsense.
don't blame me if anyone's gonna get hurt.
I'm dead serious when i say so.
and i mean word i say so far.

if anyone's gonna stand up and pick a fight
for example like Daniel.
Unless you can leave your life
right at the place.
don't bother picking a fight.
if you do wanna try me,
bring it on.

i ain't gonna stand for anyone
that shall insult my pride.
i shan't gonna tolerate any shit
that's gonna come out from any
wretched lives's mouth.

get a life if you don't have one
and treasure it wisely.
don't come running in and talk crap
not leaving your name behind.
cause it only makes you look like a shit in the face.
and i'll help you wipe that from your face
and stuff that right in your mouth.
by the time that comes,
i won't take sorry or no for an answer.
and it would be all to late to go crying for your mother.

don't blame me for your own destruction.
you path your way to destruction.
you'll only gonna go digging your own grave.

keep that in mind.
cause there ain't gonna be repeat of this Warning.
carry my words to those who dare.
and bring my condolences to those who shall try.

by the name of Clarence Liu,
I'll take these words to the grave.

my final condolences to those who shall try...

how thankful i am of you guiding your mates here,
to see.. i should better get a web counter to see how well it will go.

Damned:

"It is a consolation to the wretched to have companions in misery."

"O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain!"

"For Brutus, as you know, was Caesar's angel.
Judge, O you gods, how dearly Caesar lov'd him!
This was the most unkindest cut of all;
For when the noble Caesar saw him stab,
Ingratitude, more strong than traitors' arms,
Quite vanquish'd him: then burst his mighty
heart. . . ."

"How poor are they that have not patience!
What wound did ever heal but by degrees?
Thou know'st we work by wit, and not by witchcraft;
And wit depends on dilatory time."

"Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't."

"Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do."

"If you are not criticized, you may not be doing much."

"After all, one knows one's weak points so well, that it's rather bewildering to have the critics overlook them and invent others."

"Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance, or a stranger."

"Few people can see genius in someone who has offended them."

"When people do not respect us we are sharply offended; yet deep down in his private heart no man much respects himself."

, 5:09 pm

the day started rather fine..
let me see..
To Where You Are was much smoother that i had
thought it would be..
sectionals were find too.
now that i understand about giving expectations.
and they meet the basic requirements today i guess.

feel rather lethargic now..
lets see, why?
after choir went to eat down the street.
with much difficulty after the lunch with
the guys, went back up to do ISPL
with kellie, qinli and leo...
in the end i just finished 1 ISPL,
Social Studies.
and a half completed one,
English..
ain't that bad la i guess..

i guess the wars just about to begin.
and i would stand up to my words for real this time.
bring in you best shot,
but it ain't gonna hurt me one bit.
cause the one whose gonna lose would only be you.
and so i'm the Mr Know-it-all,
and how much do you stink.
ya guess it right, ALOT!

and i wanna take back my words that
my message reached you.
cause i forgot you don't and won't ever understand anything.
bring in your best shot.
we'll see in the end who would live a better life that the other.
and i see yours in HELL...

but i believe there would not be any end to this essay
titled, "How Much TEH CHEANPIN STINKS."
cause until you truly get out of my sight.
there wouldn't be an end.
you totally stink my memories.
and i ain't holding back.
there won't be a need for any one to try convince me
that i should be feeling any sense of remorseful..
cause the only thing i can of
think is, 'I pity your life from here on..."

It would be too much for the readers and me
if i were to post everything i've just researched on.
thus instead i have came to this.
by posting the links of the details.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmsVj_kjDcw&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPzOZD5cWR8&feature=related

But its pretty interesting i would say.
linking much of:
Symbolism, Christianity, Language, History, Past, Present and the Future.
much of it is rather Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

thats all for this post, and highly possible, for today..

edit:
the only vid i'm gonna put up. =B
still i believe its nonsense. ==

, 3:47 pm

YAY!
I'M OFF SOMEONE'S LINKS!!
LOL!

anyway,
the lunch just now wasn't fantastic.
but being around with those bunch of kids
was fun. hahas. then i was asking leo and roy
about the idea of the choir camp.
how find it would be..
hmm, i believe it would be during the Sep holidays.
then Terrence shall lose his MOJO!
lol, we gang up against Terrence just now at the food court.
it was a darn funny scene la..

then during choir,
we were totally out of place.
we were hardly able to sing the To Where You Are.
and the only turning point
was when roy came back to join us
and not play the piano.
thank goodness that roy is always there.
i can't help feeling bad about it though.
had to ask roy for help,
and i couldn't do much about it.
When i myself can't even remember well of the song.

Well, of course it would mean that we would have to do
extra sectionals
which came after the Sec 3 meeting.
i'm sure Shi Hao is not feeling good about it.
as i was rather harsh on him just now.
but the fact that he needs to be pressurised by me,
is that he is weak in the song.
no choice, even if he have to hate me for it.
he had better learn his lesson
and do well.
told the guys to go back and listen to the mp3,
and learn. especially leo, since we wasn't with us
when we did our extra practice.
as he was helping angela with her Math ISPL.

but certainly,
under the circumstances that everyone was hungry.
they were rather attentive then they were
when we did out sectionals earlier on.
they weren't playing a fool, joking around and wasting time.
and i played a part to be really serious too.
i guess its true, under pressure, people do things better. =B
the sec 1's are performing rather well.
and are more attentive then Jordon and Shi Hao.
shan't say too much about them here.
cause it won't be very nice of me.
but all i can say is they had better buck up.
SYF is right around the corner.
and the Choral Exams are even nearer.

NONSENSE?? LOL..

LOL, thats exaggerating.. HAHAS

, 1:16 am

argh, this would be tedious..
i can get to sleep!!!
went to bed at ard 8.
and slept rather soundly after i laid on the bed
coz i was rather tired.
and now i'm awake,
rather energetic!!
how am i suppose to sleep now?!?!

Song: Timbaland presents One Republic: Apologize

Lyrics:

I'm holding on your rope,
Got me ten feet off the ground
And I'm hearing what you say but I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me
Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say...

That it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall
Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat
But it's nothing new - yeah yeah

I loved you with the fire red
Now it's turning blue, and you say...
"Sorry" like the angel heaven let me think was you
But I'm afraid...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late whoa.....

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah
I'm holding on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground...

The best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting
Could it be that we have been this way before
I know you don't think that I am trying
I know you're wearing thin down to the core

But hold your breathe
Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I wont live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
Your impossible to find

This is not what I intended
I always swore to you i'd never fall apart
You always thought that I was stronger
I may of failed
But I have loved you from the start
Ohhhh

But hold your breathe
Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I wont live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
It's impossible

So breathe in so deep
Breathe me in
I'm yours to keep
And hold onto your words
Cuz talk is cheap
And remember me tonight
When your asleep

Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I wont live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I wont live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
Your impossible to find

[Verse 1:]
Beep Beep oh look now there goes my phone
And once again im just hoping its a text from you..mm..
It aint right read ur messages twice thrice
Four times a night its true
Everyday I patiently wait
Feeling like a fool but I do, anyway
Nothing can feel as sweet and as real
Cuz I know that I wasn't waiting in vain..

[Chorus:]
And maybe its true
Im caught up on you
Maybe there's a chance your stuck on me too
So maybe im wrong
Its all in my head
Maybe we're afraid of words we both haven't said

[Verse 2:]
Im always connected online
Looked on facebook all the time
Hoping you've Checked my profile
Just can't help wondering why,
You play it cool but,
I'm hopelessly falling for you,
Every night on the phone I'm..
In love with you, and I know you like it girl
All joking aside,
Let's see you and I
Come out and say what we're trying to hide..

[Chorus:]
And maybe its true
Im caught up on you
Maybe there's a chance your stuck on me too
So maybe im wrong
Its all in my head
Maybe we're afraid of words we both haven't said

Like I really want you,
I think I need you,
Baby I miss you,
I'm thinking of you [x2]

That's Not My Name by The Ting Tings
Four letter word just to get me along
It’s a difficulty and I’m biting on my tongue and I
I keep stalling, keeping me together
People around gotta find something to say now

Holding back, everyday the same
Don’t wanna be a loner
Listen to me, oh no
I never say anything at all
But with nothing to consider they forget my name
(ame, ame, ame)

They call me ‘hell’
They call me ‘Stacey’
They call me ‘her’
They call me ‘Jane’
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name

They call me ‘quiet girl’
But i’m a riot
Maybe ‘Joleisa’
Always the same
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name

I miss the catch if they through me the ball
I’m the last kid standing up against the wall
Keep up, falling, these heels they keep me boring
Getting glammed up and sitting on the fence now

So alone all the time at night
Lock myself away
Listen to me, i’m not
Although I’m dressed up, out and all with
Everything considered they forget my name
(ame, ame, ame)

They call me ‘hell’
They call me ‘Stacey’
They call me ‘her’
They call me ‘Jane’
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name

They call me ‘quiet girl’
But I’m a riot
Maybe ‘Joleisa’
Always the same
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name
That’s not my name

Are you calling me darling?
Are you calling me bird?
Are you calling me darling?
Are you calling me bird?

The AE86 generation of the Toyota Corolla Levin and Toyota Sprinter Trueno
is a small, lightweight coupe introduced by Toyota in 1983 as part of the
fifth generation Toyota Corolla line-up. For the purpose of brevity,
the insider-chassis code of "AE86" is used to describe the whole range.
In classic Toyota code, the "A" represents the engine that came in the car (the 3A and 4A)
and the E86 represents the 6th revision of the fifth generation (E80 series) of the E model
which is the Corolla. The visual difference between the Levin and Trueno is that
the former has fixed-headlights and the latter has retractable headlights.
The export model name Corolla covers both variations.
The AE86 (along with the lower spec 1,452 cubic centimetres (1.452 L)
AE85 and 1587 cc SR5 versions) was rear wheel drive
(unlike the front wheel drive CE80, EE80 and AE82 models),
and is among the last rear-drive cars of its type,
at a time when most passenger cars were being switched to front-drive.
The AE86 was replaced in 1987 by the front wheel drive AE92 Corolla/Sprinter range.
The AE86 was also known as the Hachi-Roku (ハチロク, Hachi-Roku)
(after the numbers eight (ハチ, hachi) and six (ロク, roku) in Japanese).

North American AE86 specifications and year changes

There are three types of Corolla Sport RWD for the US market:
DX, SR5, and GT-S, though it seems the DX was more of an internal
Toyota designation, as brochures, and the like do not include the
DX designation; it was more of an interior trim level,
as most everything else is the same as the SR5.
It is grouped in with the SR5 in this list, as that is the
commonly used name for all North American Corolla Sport models
that are not GT-S equipped.[1]

* Model Years of production: 1984 to 1987

AE86 in popular culture

The Hachi-Roku is prominently featured by manga artist Shuichi Shigeno
in the manga/anime series Initial D. A panda paint-schemed Trueno
with a tofu shop signage on its driver's side door is driven by
lead character Takumi Fujiwara. A turbocharged (later supercharged)
Levin variant is driven by one of Takumi's later rivals Wataru Akiyama.
Takumi's friend Itsuki Takeuchi unintentionally buys a lower trim Corolla,
a Levin AE85, thinking it is an AE86.

Some computer and video games have included the AE86,
either as base model cars, or specially tuned cars. The car is featured,
in stock form, in both Need For Speed Underground 2
and Need For Speed ProStreet (As the Corolla GT-S), Drift City, and
in Forza Motorsport 1 and 2. The AE86 is included in all installments
of Gran Turismo (besides GT5 Prologue), Tokyo Highway Battle,
and Tokyo Xtreme Racer, and most recently in the
TOCA Touring Carseries by Codemasters, GRID.

The Mazda RX-7 (also called the Ẽfini RX-7)
is a sports car produced by the Japanese automaker Mazda
from 1978 to 2002. The original RX-7 featured a twin-rotor Wankel
rotary engine and a sporty front-midship, rear-wheel drive layout.
The RX-7 was a direct replacement for the RX-3
(both were sold in Japan as the Savanna) and subsequently
replaced all other Mazda rotary cars with the exception of the Cosmo.

The original RX-7 was a sports coupé.
The compact and light-weight Wankel engine or rotary engine
is situated slightly behind the front axle,
a configuraton marketed by Mazda as "front mid-engine".
It was offered in America as a two-seat coupé, with optional
"occassional" rear-seats in Japan, Australia, and other parts of the world.

The RX-7 made Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list five times.
In total, 811,634 RX-7s were produce.

An optional turbocharged model, known as the Turbo II, had 189 hp(135 kW).
* Series 5 (1989–1992) featured updated styling and better engine management,
as well as lighter rotors and a higher compression ratio, 9.7:1
for the naturally aspirated model, and 9.0:1 for the turbo model.
The Turbo II moniker was dropped, and the turbocharged model
was simply dubbed Turbo. The naturally aspirated Series 5 FC made 160 hp (119 kW),
while the Series 5 Turbo made 200 hp (147 kW).

Though about 80 lb (36 kg) heavier and more isolated than its predecessor,
the FC continued to win accolades from the press. The FC RX-7 was Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1986, and the Turbo II was on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for a second time in 1987.

Mazda sold 86,000 RX7's in the US alone in 1986, its first model year, with sales peaking in 1988.

* Series 8 (January 1999– August 2002) was the final series,
and was only available in the Japanese market. More efficient
turbochargers were installed, while improved intercooling and
radiator cooling was made possible by a revised frontal area.
The seats, steering wheel, and front and rear lights were all changed.
The rear spoiler was modified and gained adjustability.
The top-of-the-line "Type RS" came equipped with a Bilstein suspension
and 17" wheels as standard equipment, and reduced weight to 1280 kg (2822 lb).
Power was 280 PS (206 kW/276 hp), with 313.8 N·m (231 lb·ft)
of torque as per the maximum Japanese limit. The Type RZ version
included all the features of the Type RS, but at a lighter weight (at 1270 kg).
It also featured custom gun-metal colored BBS wheels
and a custom red racing themed interior. Further upgrades included
a new 16-bit ECU and ABS system upgrades. The improved ABS system worked
by braking differently on each wheel, allowing the car better turning
during braking. The effective result made for safer driving for the
average buyer. Easily the most collectible of all the RX-7s
was the last 1,500 run-out specials. Dubbed the "Spirit R",
they combined all the "extra" features Mazda had used on previous
limited-run specials and all sold within days of being announced.
They still command amazing prices on the Japanese used car scene years later.

- There are three kinds of "Spirit R": the "Type A", "Type B", and "Type C".
The "Type A" has a 5-speed manual transmission, and is said to have the best performance of the three models. The "Type B" has a 2+2 seat configuration
and also sports a 5-speed manual transmission. The "Type C" is also a 2+2,
but has a 4-speed automatic transmission. Clarification of the build number
breakdown for each type is sought as Mazda hasn't publicly published the
production figures.

Notes

Recently, Mazda has revived the rotary engine in the form of the RX-8.
It produces approximately 232 hp (173 kW) naturally aspirated,
while the Japanese market version produces around 250 hp (186 kW).

It's also been said by Automobile Magazine that a new generation
of RX-7s will be returning in 2011.

Popular appearances

Ever since its debut on Full Throttle in 1987,
the RX-7 has appeared on numerous motoring-based video games
and other popular media appearances, most notably on games such
as Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed, Kaido Racer I & II
(Tokyo Extreme Racer), The Fast and the Furious and its sequels, Initial D,
the Forza Motorsport series, the Gran Turismo series,
Need for Speed: Underground and its sequels as well being the
first appearance of the SA22 on Sega GT 2002 and on the cover
of Auto Modellista and the PS2 version of Battle Gear 3.

Another appearance in popular culture is the inclusion of the
RX-7 as a Transformer. Unlike the RX-8 however, the character
is very obscure, being the toy-only Autobot known as Camshaft,
an ironic choice of name considering the RX-7 has no camshafts.
It was part of a group of three Autobots called the Omnibots.
The toys were only ever available in the West as mail away premiums.
Camshaft's team mates were Overdrive and Downshift.
An early version of "Zoom-Zoom", a replicant of the Autobot Jazz,
was used to launch the Mazda RX-8.
