SHOPPING. IT SUCKED.I just hate shopping. Especially you are in the company of 2 girls who are rather indecisive in their choice of gifts - Clara and Sharon. Took a few hours searching for appropriate gifts for our dear juniors. I had almost left Westmall forgetting that I had to buy gifts for 2, not just 1. Clara left the earliest, folllowed by Leonard and in the end I was stuck with Sharon. That was exaggerated.
It was a pretty cool experience though, and I am thankful that she was still around as I didn't bring cash to buy any gifts, having only recieved notice this evening from Ms Seah. I have yet to do up my short card for the two recipients and I'm gonna have to make an effort to remember to do so tomorrow, seeing that there is no time for me to finish gift wrapping today.
Had done an inspirational speech for tomorrow's passing down ceremony and as I am speaking (or rather typing) Junyan is editting it, and it seems to be taking a very long time. That doesn't sound nice at all.
I am very impressed with myself for I had done a pretty neat work on my half-completed english essay, that is titled "Love". It recieve moderate feedbacks, which to me is an accomplishment already. I am so glad that Ruth is talking to me and after today, I feel even more welcomed in the class. We spent a lot of time going through the errors of each other's essay. Ruth was busy editting every one's script too.
I have had my half-completed essay checked by numerous people and thus, it is pretty clean of errors (at least, in this half of the essay). namely Leonard, Derrick, Junyan, Hong Zhang and Ruth. Qinli helped a bit while Hong Zhang was reading and giving comments on improvement. By the end of the day, my essay has been read by all those people I have mention aboved and the rest of Hong Zhang's clique. After which, I also showed Sharon and Clara too.
In general, it seems like a success. I'm so proud of myself. I am proud to announce that I am actually developing an interest in writing essays, even though I do believe that I am in no way very good at it. I'm actually liking English! So all I am left with to develop an interest with before the O level comes are Biology and Chemistry. I still don't have that 'something', or some others may put it as the 'omph' to excel in them I guess.
All right, that's gonna be all for today. For tomorrow will be brighter and more fufilling (and tiring), I must go off.
