HAVE BEEN BUSY.

Well, it matters even lesser now whether I update my blog since nobody bothers to tag nor have many noticed I have moved and blah blah blah.

Anyway, I've got like 15 minutes before I really have start searching for definitions of words here and there. And today's topic of choice, is "Gossiping"

GOSSIP. HAVE YOU?
"Gossiping is part of humans nature."

I bet I gonna see a sea of hands up high. Well maybe a few other like myself would not fit the above statement, but according to my hypothesis and research, the above statement is very true. Many people gossip and talk behind peoples back in secretion. Be it among his/her clique or his/her siblings. As long as the other party is trustworthy not to spill the beans in front of the gossiped (if there is such a word).

I personally find such and act, disgusting. I hate to gossip and talk bad of others behind their back. I would much prefered the idea of going upfront to the person and attempt to "change" the person by telling him/her what I truly feel and think. I just find it rather despicable and hypocritical to be acting as if nothing has ever happened and yet be talking all the shit about some one else with your friend.

Also, I find gossiping almost childish and meaningless. You know how much I effort I make sure I do things with meaning, and gossiping is one meaningless thing that I wouldn't like to do. You gossip because you have unhappiness about the gossiped, however, talking behind their backs is not gonna change a single thing. So why are you gossiping?

I just see no meaning in gossiping from my point of view. I make an conscious effort to not gossip or talk bad about others behind their back. However, it is pretty subjective to say what is gossiping and what is not. "What is right and what is wrong would also differ from one to another."

People often ridicule and rebutt the above statement by saying, "Is killing a right thing to do, or not?" It is ridiculous to make such a comparison though. I stress that such a statement is no doubt almost as childish as a 5 year old toddler is. Ask a 5 year old toddler whether killing is a right thing to do, or not. Tell me his/her answer.

Maybe my explanation wasn't exactly explicit enough. To further simplify matters, killing is a bad thing not because our parents told us so. Neither is it the bishops, or other religious figures, the president, the teachers, not to mention even friends. It is more of like a default idea as the human brain develops as we grew up to around puberty age (average ages of 9 to 14 for girls and 10 to 17 for boys). The brain is default to recognise that killing or other "sins" are "sinful" and are never the slightest possible right thing to do in anyway.

So what do you think?
What lies in the black region? What lies in the white region? What is the grey region?
