TIRED! I am darn exhausted from the run in the morning and the choir practice in the afternoon. It is taking a toll out of me, I need some rest after this. I'm glad that I don't have to worry about the Chinese essay anymore as Derrick has done it. However, there is A.Math Common Test tomorrow! So after this post, I'm most probably gonna get some sleep before dinner is done.
I didn't do as well as I thought I could for the x-country earlier on this morning. I had expected myself to get into Top 50. However, I guess I just can't run well enough anymore. I didn't have the excuse of not wearing a fitting attire, nor that I was carrying a bag, like I did last year, nor that I have stitches. I can almost say that I was in top condition this morning for the run. I could choose to blame that I am not exactly in top health condition as I am still having a cough, but I didn't have much difficulty breathing for it to affect my run.
All I can say that I lack of trainning and I have a weak mind. I gave up too easily I guess. I couldn't hold onto my speed for more than around 2km and soon began to stop and slow down. Had I had a great perserverance than maybe I would have gotten myself a place in top 50. That would have been something conforting as compared to having no recognition at all.
It was sad that HongZhang only got 15 in the level though. He could have done better if not for his leg injury. KC slacked much at the start of the race and as a result, he didn't do as well as he could either. Same goes to Roy.
What's over is over, but I had quite a great experience this year, even though I am rather mad at myself for losing out to Yuen Kai and Roger Poh.
I dedicated a song to the Choir after the run too. Everyone would most probably have heard it, although something cropped up. I think I have to check my handwriting some time. Why issit that people tend to mistake my letter 'u' as 'n'? Issit that hard to differentiate between the two? The DJ read my name as Clarence LIN, instead of Clarence LIU. Gosh. Anyway, they didn't have Thunder by Boys Like Girls, so instead I chose Mad by Ne-Yo. I was surprised when they played one of the song in David Archuleta's album. Should have picked one of the other in the song, but oh well.
So after the run, I and JingWen thought we could go up to Roy's place to bath. Last minute he turn back on his word, saying his father is at home so we can't go up his house.
Oh well, so we all went back to our homes. Jing Wen, Yu Sheng, Dion and I took the MRT back home. They retold the tale of how Jing Wen made two guys from some church, who gave them a survey to fill, go mad. Jing Wen totally own their asses by rebutting practically they say in contrast to his beliefs.
They were actually trying to convince the trio to change religion and stuff, but Yu Sheng and Dion can't be bothered and just agreed to whatever the two said. Jing Wen wasn't nice at all though, and so the guy decided to bombard him in all directions, but in futile. He got real fed up apparently.
Practice wasn't spectacular, but pretty well done. The choir seems to be pretty on form today. Could it be the run? Maybe we should all run everytime before practice starts. Joking! So before I left for home, I stayed behind to do a 15min extra practice with the boys on the Russian song. After that, by the request of Chean Pin, stayed back to do the Russian song with Sharon, Kellie and Chean Pin again.
That would be all for today. Gonna get some sleep.

How to find the Sun's long-lost siblings

Call it stars reunited. It should now be possible to find the lost siblings of our own Sun.
Most relatively massive stars are born in broods, or clusters, rather than alone. And the Sun appears to be no different - meteorites show evidence of a supernova that exploded near the infant Sun, and the orbits of icy bodies in the outer solar system appear to have been shaped by a close encounter with one of the Sun's siblings.
But over the last few billion years, these stars have gone their separate ways, blending in among the galaxy's myriad background stars.

Mass hysteria breaks out in central America* 18:14 11 March 2009 by Linda Geddes
An outbreak of mass hysteria is reported to have struck three indigenous communities living near the river Coco in northern Nicaragua. A total of 43 people have reportedly fallen ill with what is known locally as grisi siknis ("crazy sickness").
Doctors, anthropologists and sociologists who have studied previous cases of mass hysteria – also known as mass psychogenic illness – have so far failed to come up with any clear explanation for the phenomenon.
Linda Geddes spoke to Elie Karam of St George Hospital University Medical Centre in Beirut, Lebanon, who studied an outbreak of mass hysteria in Lebanon during 2004, to discover what we currently know.
