Faster-than-light 'tachyons' might be impossible after all

* 15:49 18 March 2009 by Stephen Battersby

Faster-than-light particles, or "tachyons", may be fundamentally impossible, according to two mathematical physicists. If they're right, their new theory would also imply that time – seemingly one of the most fundamental facets of nature – is no more than a mirage.

Ultimate virtual reality will trigger five senses

Video: Ultimate virtual reality

Imagine a virtual experience that you can't distinguish from reality.

Researchers from the University of York and the University of Warwick, both UK, are working on plans for a device able to manipulate five of a person's senses, to given them the sensation of being somewhere else.

I AM exhausted! The exchange was rather crappy. Many thought it was pretty badly done, I on the other hand thought it wasn't exactly that bad. Of course, we still have quite a journey ahead before we can truly secure a Silver.

Anyway, should anyone from the Choir feel that we are going to get a COP, I think you seriously should quit now. You are most definitely gonna affect our performance with such a mindset.

Why chose to become a burden and bring the whole thing down when you should be taking up the pride and responsibility and bring the choir to greater heights. It is because we are who we are that we stand here today. Be proud that you are part of the family. Be confident of what you do and be responsible for every action you do that might just cause the choir to achieve a COP after so many years or a Gold.

After the exchange, we waited for Mr Pu who went for lunch and did our experiment. It was rather crappy too as I made quite alot of amendments with me experiment so as to achieve better measurements here and there.

Had lunch with Clara, Leonard, Sharon, Yi Jun (in alphabetical order) at KFC, Westmall, after that. Clara left slightly earlier and Sharon suggested about going to CSC to play bowling. Quite surprise but still we did. Had to take some time to convince Leonard to play bowling with us. If it had been the guys who asked him to join us to play, most probably we would have went up on 985 back then. But as it was the girls who requested, he had no reason to deny them. Not to mention it was Sharon who asked him to stick along.

Sharon only told us that she had only 50cents with her when we reach the place. Leonard sort of sponsored her, as they played alternatively, while Yi Jun and I both took up one game each. They aren't good at the game but at least they tried. I'm pretty glad that I passed the 70 mark and got 101. Which reminded me of the 101 Dalmations. I was asking if Leonard had a childhood, coz' he would need to have one to know of the 101 Dalmations. Well, turns out he does have a childhood.

EDITED:
We stayed around and played a game at the arcade, it was Sharon's suggestion to play at the arcade as she THOUGHT she had 50cents with her. Then in the end when we asked for 50 cent to play, she could only dig out a 10cent coin. Darn hilarious. Leonard and Yi Jun paid the rest I think. Gosh.

Leonard was pretty hilarious himself too. Kept on forgeting his wallet. So the girls and I took turns to keep his wallet from him. Well, I couldn't lie very well, so were the girls. We ended up giving him back his wallet everytime round.

I was pretty sure that I told Jing Wen that I was going to go home and do my homework after my Physics SPA practice. In the end, it turned out to be an excuse to join the girls at lunch and a game of bowling with Leonard too. Will have to finish up the chinese essay later on, can't have An Hua waiting for me to send in it to be checked and edited. Still have 3 Chinese Mock Papers to do too. Tired! Gonna stay at home and do them tomorrow morning, while after I have finished with the Chinese essay, I'm gonna enjoy a game of DotA.

Don't worry that I am addicted to it, I am only playing around a game a day or so. Will promise and make sure I don't get addicted on to it again. At least not before O's are over.

Ja-na!~
