I AM darn exhausted from the run earlier on today, had ran 5 rounds around the school, hell tiring. I'm not exactly satisfied with my timing too, as it kind of sucked. My timing was only around 22min if I'm not mistaken, which is not what I expected to get. My stamina just proves to be just as bad as it was before.

Mrs Toh was very reluctant about letting some of the guys, like myself, to get change into our uniform after the run, as her lesson was right after that. Still she did, as the few of us who went were really darn wet. You should have seen our PE attire, you could probably get a few hundred millitres of water out of that. We probably stink just as bad as a rotten egg too, just kidding.

Anyway, I was darn worried about my work when Mdm Yaw was showing up the works of students who didn't do well for the Practice SPA task 3 assignment, but was relieved as she soon ended of her display of not very well done work by the rest of the class. Leon got the most out of her fury. He was made to redo the whole assignment and copy out the model answer that Mdm Yaw prepared for all of us. All because of his illegible handwriting.

Went for practice today rather unwillingly as I was just too tired. Luckily the day passed by pretty soon. Jermyn was pretty nice today, he also did something the rest of us wouldn't probably thought of. I also had a small talk with him and hope things would go well from here on. However, I'm not at the slightest happy about Shaun's attitude. To think we had a senior with the same name.

He is getting on my nerves these days. I gave him a warning right in his face in front of the girls, just like how he wanted it. I gave him a chance to save his face by leaving his seat, he chose the hard way though. I can tell he is not happy with what I had to say, but things would only get even ugly if he doesn't change. Jermyn wouldn't be as kind as me, I'm very sure of that.

After choir ended, I forgot to return the keys to Ms Seah's home room nor did I pass it to Sharon. I was at the bubble tea shop when Sharon called me and ask of the keys. Gosh. I ran all the way back to return the keys, can you imagine that. I was already exhausted from the run in the morning and had to run back to school from a distance of at least a few hundred metres. That totally took a toll out of me.

Just for today, I'm gonna share a new word I found rather found of, which was taken from Dictionary.com. It is the Word of the Day for today, "sanguine".

sanguine \SANG-gwin\, adjective, noun;
  1. cheerfully optimistic, hopeful, or confident
  2. (in old physiology) having blood as the predominating humor and consequently being ruddy-faced, cheerful, etc.
Just two of the better definition that I prefer as I felt that it suits me pretty well. Thanks to that, now I know a better word to decribe myself.

Humans may be hard-wired to believe in creation

* 12:29 02 March 2009 by Ewen Callaway

Religion might not be the only reason people buy into creationism and intelligent design, psychological experiments suggest.

No matter what their religious beliefs, college-educated adults frequently agree with purpose-seeking yet false explanations of natural phenomena – finches diversified in order to survive, for instance.

"The very fact of belief in purpose itself might lead you to favour intelligent design," says Deborah Kelemen, a psychologist at Boston University, who led the study

Kelemen has documented the same kinds of erroneous thinking – called promiscuous teleology – in young children. Seven and eight-year olds agree with teleological statements such as "Rocks are jagged so animals can scratch themselves" and "Birds exist to make nice music". These mistakes diminish as kids take more science classes and learn causal explanations for natural events.
