COZ WE ROCK, WE ROCK, WE ROCK! YEA!

BBQ was much a success, to me that is. I had absolute fun.

Starting from the beginning...

After choir yesturday, I went to help the girls who are making purchase of some extra stuffs for the BBQ later. Only helped by giving some ideas on what to get. Then met up with Roy and JingWen at Westmall for lunch.

Zheng Yang and Shaun then came down and we went to fool around at the arcade. It just so happened that the Basketball Shooting Machine we chose was spoilt, what luck. And we scanned 4 times on the machine. Couldn't make a refund and wasted money on it. Could have been used to play a few more rounds of Daytona or play the hockey game.

Shaun and Zheng Yang suggested to play basketball for real. Asked if there's a court nearby. Just so happens I do know of one nearby at the Community Club. Reached there and found a court, but no one else was there, and we had no basketball to play. And so we sat down at the kopitiam and spent our time away talking. I was mainly trying to play the guitar.

Then we head on to the MRT Interchange to meet. Only after calling Sue Yi. did we realised that it is actually at the Bus Interchange. They didn't made that clear at all. Anyway the guys and I were pretty early. Only Yinglin and Fazirah had reached. People started to come in and just when we about to leave, we saw another group of people who were going to BBQ some where too. Infering from their boxes and bottles of drinks that is.

Upon reaching Regent Heights we left our bags at Sue Yi's place and went down for games. I escaped from the games and went to help out at the BBQ pit. I was the one of the few in the "Fire Starting Group" according to Yinglin. Or rather I should say the founders, as after the fire started, I left the group and went to play basketball at the basketball court with the guys and Yi Jun. Yu Xin was there at first playing too, but went back to the shelter and join the rest, I guess. Have I chased her away? Anyway, then played against the guys from the other people there. Rather boring as their standard is totally... Never mind that. Not that the others from my team were alot better.

Had a short disagreement with the opposing team as I played pretty rough. Seems like they don't go out to play much though. Then we played till nightfall. Went back to the shelter to eat. Rather much of drowning myself with water and more water. I sat with the rest together at the bench and started singing. Singing the songs in my Handphone playlist one by one. Had a great time fooling around. Everyone was looking at me making a fool of myself. Something that I wouldn't get to do nor everyone would get to see frequently.


I sort of liked the part where I acted "emo". In fact I was just cooling and chilling myself from all the singing and playing. I needed to rest and allow my mind to be empty. Or should I say, practicing the closing of the mind, Occlumency. Yeap, something like that. Everyone around me, especially the guys was like trying to "wake" me up. Couldn't be possible, as long as I want to be alone. Guess the "High" peak just went down. Recession.

Then just sat around and laze. Towards the end only did I awoke. Had quite a few hotdogs than 2 brownies that Shaun had brought from his mother. It was delicious. I loved it like the others did. Yi Jun asked if I wanted a ride back home, but I declined as I just don't felt like leaving just yet. So I loitered around the place.

In the midst of talking, Desiree spilled the beans and told me that she has news of Kirby. I was so darn elated. But she strongly declared that she wouldn't tell me or help me get his contact. Luckily, she also said that Zhi Ting knows Kirby too as some how she knows Kirby's younger sister. Which brought me new hope of finding my long lost friend. Something that I have awaited for a very very long time.

Kirby now is in ACS and has grown plump as informed by Desiree and Zhi Ting. He still is a wierd guy who apparently likes to catch frogs. That is so much like him. After requesting Zhi Ting's help with great effort, she agreed that she would help me to get Kirby's contact. How great would that be. A long lost friend reunion. Nothing better for Christmas than news that I was going to meet up with Kirby soon.

I was the last few to leave as I helped out to packed the things and got to take home some Chicken wings which I shared with my family back at home. Pretty cool BBQ though.
