Hey all. The trip to science centre just now was quite interesting. All of the scientist present, sadly, were biologists. No physicist around!! Darn them! Apparently A Star does not have physicists I think. So that's why they did not attend the session.

Whatever the case is. So Derrick, Leonard and I went WestMall Kou Fu for lunch. Jia Zhe later joined us as well. After lunch we head for the Science Centre. Derrick was arugeing that 157/174 would get us there, and i insisted that it is 66 that would get us there. When I asked if he would like to bet $50, he does not want to, so it was dumb.

Was listening to Hot Shot's OP throughout the journey and singing them, Leonard just can't take that sort of punk/pop music, whats more in Chinese.

Then on the bus 66, as me and Jia Zhe moved to the back to get a seat, we saw the rest at the back too. There were Suchi, Qin Li, Vivian, Zhi Ting and Yan Jie. Rather much of a surprise did not thought that we would meet up on the bus.

We were at the entrance loitering around waiting for instructions to be passed down at the Macdonalds. Until Roy came in and said that Ms Dianah would not be present so he would be taking in charge as the IC. The guys got some fries and drink and we head right down to the Science Center. It was held at the Maxi hall I think, can't remember.

The biologists shared their experiences as a Scientist in Power Point Slides. Wasn't bad at all. There were some comical times and interesting points that were brought up by them. Then it went onto the Q&A session. Zhi Ting asked a very good question, "What if I am like failing my results currently? Can I still be a scientist?" The answer given by the panel was, "Persevere."
Coz' it not necessary relates to each other, whether if your results are really good now, but more of being better when you are in you University. That certainly answers why Einstein aint no child prodigy yet could be one of the most intelligent being on Earth. Having to fail his Physics in his High School and coming up with the world's most famous 3 papers on 1915, that is certainly one example. But then again, they brought up that, basics is necessary, but they can be brought up along the way too.

I also managed to ask one question, "Have any of your present, ever came to a situation where what your investigating clashes with your personal beliefs, such as religious beliefs?" Something like that, so they gave uncertain answers as they are unable to give a clear statement on the topic as it differs for people. But the few that answered my question said they have not met with such a situation yet. So, I guess biology is one subject that is not as 'dangerous' as Physics where faith and religion clashes alot more. But the idea of evolution and creation of man is one thing that is within Biology, so it is however what they are not really doing. As most of them are doing Biomedics or Biochemistry.

I was trembling HEAVILY in the hall before and after I ask the question. It had been a break through. I finally spoke up after much hesitation. It had been quite an experience. But for those who were with me, like Suchi who sat beside me, and Jia Zhe who also saw. They saw me tremble and shake like crazy. Violent reaction. I had to hold a gulp of water in my mouth to minimised that. The first time it worked, but then after that it didn't had the exact results that it had. Trembled due to fear/anxiety and also the room. Rather cold, you see.

So ending off here.

Oh, the Paper Airplane Guy trip has been postponed to Sunday. Have to pay by ourselves. And ourselves are namely, Me, Leo and Derrick. A trip to Science Centre out of interests. That's something I wouldn't see in Dick/Daryl or Eddie. Anyway here's the video on a rough idea on this guy. You might see my point why I shouldn't miss it even though I have to register and pay by myself.
